During January and February, in Arbroath, Helm is offering young people free taster sessions of its beauty courses to help them find out more about the beauty industry and to gain experience in cosmetology. The opportunity is open to young people aged 16 – 24.
Young people will be offered the option to attend four sessions running during January and February. On the last session, young people will be given the opportunity to deliver treatments for local sheltered housing residents. Young people will build interpersonal skills and experience working directly with other people.
Helm is offering four sessions per young person, which are running on Mondays throughout January and February.
Young people will have the opportunity to gain new skills and SQA qualifications, in a safe supportive environment.
All sessions are free and delivered by Helm’s experienced beauty instructors.
