Run an event
Coffee Morning Disco Charity Raffle

There’s lots of ways you can enjoy spending time with family, friends and colleagues while running an event to raise vital funds for Helm.

We’ve suggested a few ideas below but there’s lots of other ways you could get involved.

Coffee morning

Have fun with friends and family by running a coffee morning.  What better way to raise vital funds for Helm then enjoying time and a slice of cake with your loved ones?

Music night

Are you a budding musician or have talented friends and family?  Why not showcase your talents while raising money for charity?  A music night is a great way to bring people together, while supporting Helm.

Black tie dinner

Everyone enjoys the glitz and glamour of a black tie event.  The opportunity to get dressed up, enjoy a nice meal, and dance the night away is even better when you’re raising money for a charity!

Why not try running a black tie ball to support us?  Sell tickets and the proceeds will be directed towards our charitable services.

Car Wash

Fancy spending the day scrubbing and cleaning strangers’ cars?  Probably not!  But the satisfaction you’ll get from raising vital funds for us will make it all worthwhile we promise!

Get in touch and we’ll be happy to help you coordinate it and even provide some advice on sponges and soap!

Alternatively, there’s lots of other ways you could support us. From bingo to pub quizzes, to race nights, to a BBQ in your back garden, the options are endless and the more creative you get, the better! Let us know what you’re planning, and we’ll be happy to help you to make your event a fantastic success.

Email the Fundraising Team on and they’ll be happy to help you and will be with you every step of the way as you plan your event.  We can’t wait to hear from you!
