Helm enables young people to gain practical skills and gain real life experience, alongside SQA qualifications.
Helm enables young people to gain practical skills and gain real life experience, alongside SQA qualifications. To do this, we operate a training garage where young people can gain skills working as a mechanic. Our training garage is operated as a social enterprise, generating vital income for Helm to enable us to grow our work and continue to support young people.

Helm has been supporting young people aged 15 to 25 years, in Dundee, to gain education and employment, for over 40 years. As a grassroots organisation we have maintained our connections with communities as we have grown to work across Tayside.
