Training For Work

This successful programme, funded by Skills Development Scotland is designed to help unemployed people secure a job offer through training, or enterprising people build new businesses, with the help of re-training. Helm facilitates the programme by offering free advice and support to participants who may need for example manual trade qualifications, an HGV licence, or for those who have a business plan but need to develop their skills by completing a specialised course to get it off the ground, like pilates or beauty therapy. The scheme is open to those over 25 years and who fit the Training for Work criteria.
