Currently the project, which runs in the afternoons at the Dundee centre caters to the needs of 16-23 year olds. The participants are given very personal support and encouraged to work towards SQA qualifications, IT and other employability, vocational and core skills as well as independent living skills like budgeting and cooking that will make their lives easier in the future as working parents. A crèche is currently run Monday to Thursday afternoons with the support of the St Andrew's Project and Working for Families Dundee.
This training scheme has attracted over thirty young parents since starting and has now become firmly established in the city with its own Council and Newsletter.
