The Captain's Table is the newly-launched café based in the Dundee centre. Here the young people are involved in preparing meals that are offered to staff and learners twice a week. In addition the service offers a daily breakfast club and a range of other cooking classes. Learners will cover all aspects of catering including food hygiene, food preparation, nutrition, service and hospitality in order to prepare them to progress into hospitality and kitchen positions or courses at Dundee College.

The Captain's Table will also be looking at working with outside organisations through 2011 to encourage careers in the restaurant and hospitality field.
